Birthstone Rings

The day you enter the world is a celebration. Every year, from that point on, the day is marked by cake, parties, traditional meals, and presents from family and friends.

No matter where you are in the world, one’s birthday is a special day. It signifies longevity. Another year with friends and family. Another lap around the sun. Another stretch of time that you’ve left your mark on the world.

But there’s more to a birthday than that. When you’re born may even affect your personality, relationships, and your path in life. For centuries, those traits have been tied to zodiac signs and gemstone colors.

Our personalized cross birthstone rings are a beautiful way to showcase the very personality traits that make each of us special, on our birthdays and every day.

💎MEANINGS FOR EACH BIRTHSTONE💎

Throughout time, cultures around the world have attributed meanings to different gems. Western traditions state that birthstones represent the 12 stones in the breastplate of Aaron, brother of Moses, and the first High Priest of the Israelites.

Eastern cultures believed the stones have physical properties and abilities for specific people, such as the ability to bring luck, peace, or even courage during long travels.

The stones were tied to months of the year, and to the zodiac signs, as the belief that the colors and properties of the stones matched personalities.

Stones and colors don’t have as much symbolism today as they once had, but birthstones still hold that special meaning for all of us.

It’s likely you’ve known your birthstone for most of your life, but do you know your friends? Your mother’s? Your sister’s?

Use this chart to make sure you’re getting the right stone for your special someone:

January Birthstone- Garnet

It has a soft red color, similar to the seeds of a pomegranate, which is where its name is derived. Traditionally believed to keep travelers safe during their travels, the stone now represents genuine, faithful, and even sturdy personality traits.

February Birthstone- Amethyst

This royal purple stone is tied to the Aquarius zodiac symbol. As an air sign, Aquarius people are thought to be aloof, overstimulating, and continually on the go. The stone is traditionally thought to bring them stability and prosperous relationships.

March Birthstone- Aquamarine

Aquamarine is a precious light blue stone that represents the water sign Pisces. It is believed to be a purifier of your mind and emotions, eliminating anxiety and boosting confidence.

April Birthstone- Diamond

Everyone knows that diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but did you know that it is also the birthstone tied to April and the Aries zodiac sign? It is the symbol of everlasting love and was even thought to bring courage.

May Birthstone- Emerald

Emeralds are notorious for their bright green color and have held several different meanings throughout time. They’re thought to be a sign of wealth, good fortune, generosity, and health due to the association with green pastures and harvest times.

June Birthstone- Alexandrite and Moonstone

There are actually two birthstones for the month of June- Alexandrite, a stone that is both bluish-green and purple at the same time, and Moonstone, which is generally white but also carries a blue sheen.

Alexandrite is thought to bring good luck and prosperity. Moonstone is believed to have a calming quality.

July Birthstone- Ruby

Rubies are a hardy, stark red stone that symbolizes strength, integrity, and harmony. They’re linked to the Cancer zodiac symbol due to Cancer’s notoriously moody nature and the security the stone is thought to bring.

August Birthstone- Peridot

Peridot looks similar to an emerald, though it has a softer, more lime-green hue. Traditionally, it was believed the peridot could ward of…
